Pulitzer Prize-winning author David McCullough will deliver a keynote address at the 2016 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). The theme will be "Lessons in Leadership," drawing examples from his most recent book, The Wright Brothers, a No. 1 New York Times bestseller.
“As everyone knows, the Wright Brothers were visionaries, and like any visionaries, they confronted many challenges in their work to achieve their dream of powered flight,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “One true measure of their leadership is how they responded to those challenges, and we are excited to hear David McCullough’s perspectives on how the brothers worked together, each with his particular strengths, to overcome challenges and make history.”
McCullough’s works have earned him two Pulitzer Prize awards, two National Book Awards and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He will join several yet-to-be-announced speakers at the NBAA-BACE opening general session on Tuesday, November 1. The convention will run through November 3.
