Each day, the team at Aircraft For Sale picks an airplane that catches our attention because it is unique, represents a good deal, or has other interesting qualities. You can read Aircraft For Sale: Today’s Top Pick at FLYINGMag.com daily.

Beechcraft’s Model 36, a stretched, six-seat version of its long-running Bonanza high-performance piston single, has been an object of desire for pilots ever since its introduction in 1968.

Adding two seats, several inches in length to the fuselage, and double doors to the rear cabin made the airplane ideal for pilots who routinely carry large cargo items or have more than two children. Even if you carry only four people, the G36’s large cabin provides space for passengers to stretch their legs.

Shoppers who are considering a new G36 but are discouraged by the potential long wait for delivery might take a long look at the aircraft for sale today, which by typical GA standards is barely used. It has most of the modern features that make new aircraft appealing, from advanced Garmin avionics to updated high-end interiors.

This 2018 G36 Bonanza has 650 hours since new on the airframe, its Continental IO-550 engine, and three-blade heated propeller. The aircraft is equipped with 20-gallon Osborn tip tanks, shoulder harnesses, factory air conditioning, and six-place intercom.

The IFR panel features Garmin G1000 NXi avionics including Garmin GIA 63W GPS/nav/coms with glideslope, GMA 1347 audio panel and marker beacons, dual Garmin C129A GPS units, dual 10.4-inch displays for PFD and MFD, Garmin GRS 77 AHRS, GTX 345R transponder with ADS-B In and Out, synthetic vision, FIS-B weather, GDL 69A WX Data Link, Garmin GTS 800 active traffic, WX500 Stormscope, TAWS-B, GFC 700 autopilot, Safe Taxi, and FliteCharts

Pilots looking for a nearly new family hauler with six seats that comes type-specific training should consider this 2018 Beechcraft G36 Bonanza, which is available for $949,000 on AircraftForSale.
