Hawker 800XPR to Join XOJET Fleet

Hawker Beechcraft has received an order for up to 12 Hawker 800XPRs from San Francisco-based charter operator XOJET.

The agreement includes a firm order for seven aircraft, slated to be delivered next year, with the option for five additional airplanes. The deal constitutes a potential $50 million sale for Hawker and is the result of steady growth at XOJET, which has seen a surge in business during the past few years, including 40 percent growth in 2011 alone.

The Hawker 800XPR features upgraded TFE731-50R engines and company-designed winglets that give the aircraft better range, cruise speeds and climb capabilities, along with lower operating costs than the 800XP.

The aircraft will join XOJET’s existing fleet of 20 Cessna Citation Xs and 10 Bombardier Challengers.
