Dreams2Careers Program Live on February 20

OBAP plans a full roster of events for the Dreams2Careers program on February 20, 2021. OBAP

The Organization of Black Aviation Professionals (OBAP) is hosting the Dreams2Careers program all day on Saturday, February 20, for young people of all ages. The event includes a celebration of Black aviation and aerospace history, as those legends still living among us share their stories directly with participants. Those attending will also have a chance to take virtual tours at Delta Air Lines and NASA, and learn about accident investigation with the NTSB.

Hands-on, age-appropriate activities will also be offered as part of the program, in three breakout sessions, for grades K-6, grades 6-8, and high school and collegiate ages. The sessions run from 10 am to 3 pm, and interested potential aviators and enthusiasts—and their parents or guardians—can register here. A commemorative t-shirt is available for purchase, and comes free to the first 150 attendees to register. A virtual library can be accessed at any time with a range of videos and resources to explore.
