Embraer announced this week that Mexican business aviation service provider Across has placed an order for 23 Embraer bizjets worth approximately $260 million. The contract includes eight Legacy 500s, eight Phenom 300s and seven Phenom 100E twinjets.
Based at the Toluca International Airport, Across’ business includes charter, aircraft management, FBO services, a fractional ownership program and aircraft sales. “Embraer’s business jets will become the backbone of Across solutions for our fractional ownership program and charter services for customers worldwide who need to fly to Mexico or the Americas for business or leisure,” said Across CEO Pedro Corsi Amerlinck.
Deliveries of the Embraer business jets have already begun, and the airplanes will replace Across’ current fleet of Cessna Citations and Caravans.
Embraer Executive Jets recently delivered its 1,000th business jet to Cleveland, Ohio-based Flexjet. During its decade-plus tenure in the bizav market, the San José dos Campos, Brazil-based company has delivered airplanes to more than 60 different countries.
