Embraer delivered 30 jets in its commercial and business aviation segments during the third quarter of 2021. This compares to 21 jets in the same period in 2020.
The Brazilian manufacturer broke down the totals into the following executive models:
- 14 Phenom 300s
- 2 Praetor 500s
- 5 Praetor 600s
And the OEM delivered nine jets into the commercial aviation segment:
- 6 E175s
- 3 E195-E2s
The deliveries included the 1,500th Embraer business jet, a Phenom 300E sent to Haute Aviation in Switzerland.
First Praetor 500 Into Canada
The OEM also announced it had placed a Praetor 500 with an operator in Canada for the first time.
AirSprint Private Aviation, based in Toronto, Montréal, and Calgary, is a fractional jet company adding to its fleet of Embraer Legacy 450s, and Cessna Citation CJ2+ and CJ3+ models.
“We are pleased that our partnership with AirSprint, which began in 2016, continues to grow as they expand their fleet,” said Michael Amalfitano, president and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets.
“When we completed the first Legacy 450 to Praetor 500 conversion earlier this year, they were delighted to provide their customers with direct access to more Canadian destinations and experiences. The Praetor 500 is an excellent choice as the company continues to grow and holds the highest standards for all customers.”
AirSprint now has three Praetor 500s, after completing two previous upgrades from its Legacy 450 models to the Praetor 500 versions. The new Praetor 500 is the first factory-new model to enter Canada.
