Located on the Eastman Campus in Eastman, Georgia, Middle Georgia State University’s School of Aviation offers two aviation bachelor degree paths, three associate degree options, and several certificate programs focusing on aviation related topics. Some of the programs offered can be completed online.

The University is an FAA-approved Part 141 school located directly at the Eastman-Dodge County Airport (KEZM). The Eastman Campus is dedicated solely to aviation students.

Middle Georgia State University is one of only eight universities in the nation that have been selected to participate in a new program that will put new pilots into sought-after jobs in the cockpits of Delta Air Lines jets.
The school’s Professional Flight degree is accredited by Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI).
Value
Middle Georgia State University has one of the most affordable base tuitions in the state of Georgia. In-state students can expect to pay $4,500 a semester, while out-of-state students pay slightly more at $7,000 a semester. Some out-of-state students may qualify for out-of-state tuition waivers.
Base tuition does not include flight expenses. The flight fees vary depending on if a student chooses to add on additional ratings on top of the ones required for graduation. For fixed-wing students, flight costs will range from $75,000-$132,000. For rotor wing students, the cost will be around $115,000 to finish the required flight courses.
Middle Georgia State University offers many aviation scholarships to mitigate the costs of base tuition and flight expenses, including:

It also accepts veteran’s benefits such as the GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon.

Eastman Campus is home to a fleet of 30 airplanes, four helicopters, and several advanced simulators used in training and instruction. Training tools include:

Graduates from Middle Georgia State University’s Part-141 flight training program are eligible for the restricted ATP of 1,000 hours.
