Flying Aviation Expo will return once again to beautiful Palm Springs, California, this fall, but with a couple of notable changes.

For one, the fly-in event for GA pilots and enthusiasts will take place at a much improved venue from years past: Palm Springs International Airport, where the show will be held inside a 30,000-square-foot climate-controlled hangar and demo flights will be offered right from the show site. The Expo had been held at the Palm Springs Convention Center downtown for the past two years.

The date has also been shifted to a different week in October. The Expo will run from October 20-22.

One of the biggest changes organizers are anticipating to the event itself is growing enthusiasm.

"This year's Flying Aviation Expo is going to be bigger and better than ever, with so much to do and see for active and engaged general aviation pilots," said Flying Editor-in-Chief Stephen Pope. "We have a terrific lineup of educational seminars and speakers, a great new venue at the Palm Springs International Airport and more airplanes and exhibitors than ever. I've been so pleased to watch the show grow and expand, and I'm looking forward to being in sunny Palm Springs again surrounded by so many like-minded aviation enthusiasts."

More than 5,000 pilots and industry experts are expected to converge in Palm Springs for three days of exhibitions, hands-on product demonstrations by more than 300 attending brands, and social events and networking opportunities.
