NetJets Gets First Citation Latitude NetJets

NetJets has taken delivery of a Cessna Citation Latitude, a demonstrator that will be used to help NetJets introduce the new airplane to potential customers. Starting in June, NetJets will take delivery of the first of as many as 150 of the bizjet model to be added to the fractional’s growing fleet. NetJets will use the airplane as a demonstrator to showcase the Latitude’s capabilities for its customers around the United States. An additional demonstrator will be available in Europe later this year. Once actual deliveries begin, the demonstrators will be returned to Cessna.

The Latitudes will become a part of NetJets’ Signature Series light to large-cabin bizjet fleet, which also features the Phenom 300, Challenger 350 and 650, and Global 5000 and 6000. Latitude offers a range of 2,850 nm, allowing the jet to fly nonstop across the country, and a six-foot tall cabin that provides a newly developed cooling and pressurization system.

NetJets’ massive order for Citation Latitudes took place in 2012. It included 25 firm orders with options for an additional 125. NetJets’ Latitudes will feature custom enhancements, such as an expanded refreshment center and connectivity package that includes NetJets In-Flight Entertainment System, Text & Talk, and Wi-Fi.
