Beechcraft Premier 1A Wowing Crowds at Reno

This week's National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada will have more than the spectacle of high-torque piston power on display. Though not involved in the actual races, Hawker Beechcraft's Premier 1A business jet will perform a series of four fly-bys in front of the air race crowds. At the controls will be former NASA astronaut Robert "Hoot" Gibson. The Premier 1A is "the world's fastest and most technologically advanced single-pilot business jet," according to the company. Also on display at Reno are Hawker Beechcraft's King Air 350i and C90GTx turboprop twins and the piston-powered Baron G58 twin. This year marks the sixth consecutive year Hawker Beechcraft has displayed at the Reno event.
