BLR Aerospace to Offer Winglets for King Air 90 Series

With its winglets already certified and installed on larger King Airs, BLR Aerospace in Everett, Washington, has turned its attention to operators of King Air C90s, E90s and King Air GTs and GTis. Certification of the winglets was listed as "imminent" earlier this month. The winglets are credited with reducing fuel consumption by as much as 3.5 percent, increasing cruise speed by up to 6 knots and increasing rate of climb by up to 400 feet per minute. BLR, which has more than 60 STCs to its credit, also claims the winglets improve the handling of the King Air 90 Series.
