FlightSafety is expanding its eLearning offerings by adding a NextGen communications and navigation course in order to familiarize flight departments with the future of technology.
The two-hour course will cover all the bases, including key events in the history of air traffic management, transponder and radar theory basics, identification of NextGen air transportation systems and networks, and the operational approval necessary for ADS-B and CPDLC (controller pilot data link communications).
Additional eLearning courses are now available for the Garmin G3000/G5000 avionics suite, minimum navigation performance specifications and monsoon operations, as well as a variety of business aircraft manufactured by Bombardier, Dassault and Gulfstream.
"FlightSafety continues to expand its online training courses according to customer needs," said Daniel MacLellan, vice president, operations. "The recent addition of our NextGen communication/navigation course and others will help to enhance safety by ensuring our Customers have access to the training they require."
