Heavy Metal Rocker Launches Heavy Iron Charter

Vince Neil of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe has added a jet charter service to his portfolio of business ventures. According to a Wall Street Journal Internet blog, Neil has launched Vince Neil Aviation with a Gulfstream, a Hawker 700 and a Learjet Model 35 — all with hard rock-esque interiors and flame-studded paint schemes. One magazine editor quoted in the blog promises leopard-skin and cabin attendants who look as though they were recruited from one of the band's videos. The blog questions the wisdom of Neil's launching such a venture, given that a winemaking businesses and a Japanese strip club with his backing have both gone belly up. But his 'Dr. Feelgood's Bar and Grill' in West Palm Beach, Florida is going strong. No word on what sort of experience is required to be hired as a member of the Crüe crew.
