As expected, the FAA has followed Brazilian certification of the Embraer Phenom 100 by only a few days. The $3.6 million light jet received its U.S. working papers three days after the manufacturer's home country blessed it. The airplane was certified on schedule, without restrictions to flight in icing or avionics operations and with performance numbers that exceed those originally projected.
