AirVenture 2011 wraps up with more spectacular planes and one pretty amazing night show.

Over at the show's KidVenture campus, children were given the opportunity to build their own model airplanes, fly in a simulator and meet some of aviation's legendary figures. Jon Whittle
The idyllic views afforded by AirVenture's seaplane base allowed visitors a temporary escape from the crowds.

Carlton performed in the sailplane multiple times during the week of AirVenture.

According to Soucy, his airplane is the first agricultural aircraft to be used in the airshow circuit.
Fireworks brought Oshkosh's night show to an end.
