With the Garmin GDL 39 GPS/WAAS/ADS-B receiver, pilots can view ADS-B data on a number of platforms, including the Garmin Pilot app on an iPad.

Traffic and weather are available on portable platforms, like Garmin’s 796, which connects with a dedicated cable. With the GDL 39 receiver connected to the 796, users get extensive weather information and some traffic.

Instead of displaying a static view of the traffic picture, TargetTrend projects the track of intruder aircraft and projects where conflicts will likely occur. The solid green lines indicate where the targets will be in 30 seconds.
