Robert Goyer’s Cirrus SR22 in Midair Collision

Aircraft damaged, but luckily no major injuries sustained.

The SR22's ****windshield imploded, and the airplane sustained substantial fuselage damage. It began a rapid descent, but was able to land safely at KCLL.
The other aircraft involved in the collision, a Cessna 152, suffered the loss of its right landing gear wheel. It was able to land safely, and the flight instructor and student aboard the airplane sustained no injuries.
Clear skies and 10 miles of visibility were reported at the time of the accident.
