In our FBO Spotlight series, we're highlighting FBOs around the country that have received rave reviews from our readers. This latest Spotlight is brought to you by Frank Himmerich, who recently flew into Fullerton Municipal Airport in Fullerton, California, in N8530N, a Piper Cherokee 235. Here's what he has to say about one of the airport's FBOs, AFI Flight Training Center:
"I have been flying into this FBO for over ten years. They have always been very helpful in providing the cheapest gas on the field. But most important, they have let me park my plane for the night adjacent to their facility instead of out in the field parking area. I fly into Fullerton in order to pick up passengers that I take to medical missions in Mexico. With the supplies and equipment they normally take, it is very handy to be able to load the plane close to where they have to park instead of having to lug the things out to the airport plane parking area. Also, the personnel, and especially the owner, are extremely friendly and always very helpful."
