PS Engineering this week announced its upgraded PMA450A audio panel with increased audio control capabilities.
Announced at EAA AirVenture 2014, the original PMA450A was the first audio panel with a built-in graphics display and soft key interface. PS Engineering’s new version offers a larger display and easy-to-read white-on-black text, using Organic Light Emitting Display (OLED) technology.
Priced at $2,595, the updated version also features a USB-C standard connector that’s non-directional and non-gendered, making it easier to connect to the cockpit.
An optional PS Streamer Bluetooth module ($149.95) enables an intercom function with “copilot as passenger” mode, independent music streaming for everyone on board, and a selection of audio signals and radios.
