Earlier this year, in a galaxy not-so-far away, you might have caught of a glimpse of All Nippon Airways rolling out a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner dressed up as a giant R2-D2. It seems only fitting that as the latest blockbuster in the Star Wars franchise, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," sets to open this weekend, the cast flew in the ultimate style from Los Angeles to the London film premiere in the R2-D2 jet.
ANA revealed three Star Wars jets after signing a five-year promotion license contract with the Walt Disney Company. In addition to the cool designs, according to ANA, they will be the first airline in the world to offer all six Star Wars films as in-flight entertainment on international flights.
A Boeing 777-300 that will feature the new Star Wars character BB-8 will begin its service on international routes starting in March.
Watch the cast take off in the R2-D2 jet and check out the photos below for a look at ANA's other Star Wars jets.
