Beloved airshow performer Sean D. Tucker had not only his first show for the year this weekend, but also the inaugural Team Oracle formation flight show with aerobatic performer and air racer Jessy Panzer. Tucker is flying a modified Pitts biplane while Panzer flies an Extra 300, both painted in the recognizable Oracle orange.

The two terrific pilots chased each other in the skies, flew aerobatic maneuvers together and separated for short solo performances, wowing the crowds at the California International Airshow in Salinas, California.

Tucker has flown more than 1,275 performances and won several aerobatic competitions since he began flying airshows in the mid-70s. Panzer started her aerobatic career in 2000 and has performed solo and as part of the Stars of Tomorrow formation aerobatic team. She is a corporate pilot and a flight instructor for airplanes, seaplanes and helicopters, and competes in the Sport Class at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, flying a Glasair III.

Team Oracle will perform at about a dozen shows around the country this year, including EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in late July. The next show will be on May 11 and 12 at the Joint Base Andrews Air Show in Camp Springs, Maryland.
