Textron Aviation has added a subsidiary in Canada to increase the support of its growing fleet of aircraft. Textron Aviation Canada will bring service to the area with a direct connection to the parent company, just as the Textron Aviation global service network has done.

As part of the establishment of Textron Aviation Canada, the company acquired Aspect Aircraft Maintenance, an aircraft maintenance and repair provider in Calgary, Alberta. A Textron Aviation Mobile Service Unit (MSU) had already been established in “Cowtown,” with maintenance and repair services on Citations, King Airs and Hawkers. The acquisition of Aspect Aircraft Maintenance means expanded services with more maintenance technicians and expanded AOG support at the Calgary International Airport (YYC). Textron also has an MSU in Toronto to provide support to the more than 500 Citations, King Airs and Hawkers that are based in Canada.

Textron Aviation’s growing global support network includes 3,000 employees providing maintenance, inspections, parts, avionic upgrades, equipment installations, refurbishments and other specialized services. “With customers flying in nearly every corner of the globe, it’s essential that we’re always within reach, prepared to deliver the expertise and service they expect,” said Textron Aviation’s senior vice president of customer service.
