The single-pilot-certified M2 is capable of a top speed of 404 kts and a maximum altitude of 41,000 ft. Textron Aviation

Seattle-based Fast Rabbit Aviation, LLC, recently became the latest customer to accept delivery of a Cessna Citation M2 entry-level jet. Textron Aviation said in a news release that the owners of Fast Rabbit Aviation will use their new M2 for frequent trips throughout the West Coast of the US; the aircraft is able to fly nonstop with four passengers from Seattle to Burbank, California. The new owners may also take further advantage of the M2′s range and agility in the future by completing a trip around the world.

The Citation M2 has a maximum cruise speed of 404 knots true airspeed (464 mph) and a range of 1,550 nm and can operate at airports with runways as short as 3,210 feet—and it will climb to 41,000 feet in 24 minutes. Designed for single-pilot operation through Garmin G3000 avionics, the M2′s Williams FJ44-1AP-21 engines will deliver a climb to 41,000 feet in just 24 minutes. The main passenger cabin of the Citation M2 is 58 inches wide and 11 feet long with a 5-inch dropped aisle providing a cabin height of 57 inches and seating for seven.

Following simulator training, many new M2 operators take advantage of Textron Aviation’s pilot support services which include customized entry-into-service support programs to provide assistance to pilots of all experience levels.
