Spanish Flight School Acquires 20 Piper Archer DXs
FTEJerez trains professional pilots for carriers such as Aer Lingus, British Airways, Etihad, Iberia, and Ryanair.
Piper Aircraft announced Thursday that it has a new fleet agreement with FTEJerez (Flight Training Europe) to supply the company with 20 new Piper Archer DXs. The first 10 aircraft were delivered in December.
“Our acquisition of these brand-new Piper Archer DX aircraft is a testament to FTE’s commitment to excellence in aviation training,” Oscar Sordo, CEO of FTEJerez, said in a statement. “Having successfully operated older Piper Warrior aircraft for many years, we have a proven track record with Piper as a reliable aircraft supplier. The Archer DX will enhance our training capabilities and ensure that our students receive the best possible training in a modern, sustainable, and efficient flying environment.”
FTEJerez is based in Jerez, Spain, and provides flight training for professional pilots who go to work for carriers such as Aer Lingus, British Airways, Etihad, Iberia, and Ryanair.
