Two U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancers recently practiced air-to-air refueling with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), as part of bilateral training with key partners in the region, Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) said.

During the training exercise, a RSAF A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport topped off the Lancers that arrived in Singapore on Thursday. The bombers are assigned to the 345th Bomb Squadron, based at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.

"Integration with the RSAF provides valuable professional exchanges and training opportunities with different aircraft and aircrews," PACAF said in a statement Friday.

That same day, PACAF also posted a photo of two Dyess AFB-based B-1Bs flying in formation with Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) F-15s. The bilateral training exercise was conducted over the Sea of Japan and is aimed at enhancing the U.S.-Japan bilateral response capabilities and tactical skills, PACAF said.

Participants in the bilateral training with Japan included four JASDF F-15s assigned to 2nd Air Wing at Chitose Air Base, and Northern Aircraft Control and Warning Wing based at Misawa Air Base.
